Another part of the geisha experience was a portrait session in their studio.
They posed us into funny traditional geisha stances. All the while, we held baskets, fans, and umbrellas, tilting and contorting into unnatural positions.
When I showed Sean the portraits, he had exactly three things to say.

Wow! What an experience!
Sean's comments make me laugh. Hee, hee. But, seriously, how cool was that?
I hope to hear what your experience was like in person one day!
And yes, Italy is wonderful, as long as I forget about the traffic, the crowds, and all the other little things that drive me mad :-))).
Wishing you a great weekend!

He's funny. That sounds like a really intriguing experience. I like the photo with the umbrella the best!
Ha! I love it. He sounds like a true-blue boy :)
This is actually pretty neat. I can't say I've ever heard of anyone else doing this. Must have taken hours...You look like a real doll.
I love the close up shot - what an incredibly neat experience. And Sean's reactions are a riot - leave it to the men to miss the bigger picture (literally in this case) :-)
so wait-those pics are really you??! cool!
