When the Husband is Away

Sean is working hard on a project abroad, and I have quite a bit of free time to myself these days.

How have I been spending it? Well, let's see...

1)A chocolate cupcake binge (going on day 4 now)
2) Watching "Last Days of Hitler" programs on the History Channel
3) Making these videos...

Check it out here. You'll become addicted too...

I was tempted to create a video for Lord of the Dance, but that one verges dangerously close to the truth of the spontaneous dance breakout sessions we have some nights.

Miss Footloose often finds herself in similar husbandless situations. She then foregoes all cooking and, being Dutch, survives on a diet of bread with good cheese, fruit, and lots of dark chocolate and red wine.

She watches TV shows featuring people looking for a house to buy in exotic or interesting places such as Fiji, Thailand, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and sighs a lot with longing.

Then, before the husband comes home, she goes on a cleaning spree and goes shopping for food and to replenish the wine supply. Just to make sure he is not aware of her slothful and decadent living while he was away.

Sounds like time well spent, Mary!
I've been known to do Law and Order SVU marathons (currently being replaced with Dennis Lehane novels...I'm obsessed)and eat nothing but cheese and crackers in my day...

I'm just trying to figure out the connection between the cupcake binge and Hitler's last days....;)

Hee hee, a cupcake binge sounds like the thing to do although I never wait until my husband is gone to indulge in them!

Ok now, that's pretty funny. However, it may be time for Sean to come home. Good job --
